Dr. David Vitunac is a Central Pennsylvania native, raised in Danville, PA. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree. After dental school, Dr. Vitunac committed himself to lifelong learning, staying current with the latest advancements in modern dentistry through Continuing Education courses.

As a technology-driven dentist serving the Watsontown and Mifflinburg areas, Dr. Vitunac has invested in cutting-edge dental technology to improve patient outcomes and comfort. His dental scanner allows for comfortable crowns and nightguards to be made, while his CBCT scanner provides 3D imaging for accurate diagnosis and precise treatment planning in implant dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics.

Dr. Vitunac is passionate about giving back. He has volunteered dental services for Special Olympics athletes, the Boys and Girls Club, and Give Kids a Smile Day. His outreach also includes mission trips to Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, providing quality dental care to underserved communities.

Outside the office, Dr. Vitunac enjoys golfing and cheering on his favorite Pittsburgh sports teams. After spending several years in Pittsburgh for his education, he was excited to return to his roots in Central Pennsylvania when Dr. Paul Vidunas entrusted him with the well-established Mifflinburg Dental practice.

Shortly after settling in Mifflinburg, Dr. Dale Chomas invited Dr. Vitunac to begin seeing patients at Watsontown Dental on Fridays.

In early 2024, Dr. Chomas officially passed leadership of Watsontown Dental to Dr. Vitunac. Now leading both locations, Dr. Vitunac remains committed to delivering gentle, personalized, and high-quality dental care to families across Mifflinburg, Watsontown, Lewisburg, and the surrounding Central PA communities.
